Reentry Resources
The Justice Center coordinates the Reentry Policy Council (RPC), which provides bipartisan recommendations and resources that policymakers can use to improve the likelihood that adults released from prison or jail will avoid crime and become productive members of families and communities. RPC resources are available on the project website, http://www.reentrypolicy.org/.
In addition, the Justice Center oversees the National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC), established by the Second Chance Act (Public Law 110-199) and administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, U.S. Department of Justice, which provides education, training, and technical assistance to states, tribes, territories, local governments, service providers, non-profit organizations, and corrections institutions working on prisoner reentry. The mission of the NRRC is to advance the reentry field through knowledge transfer and dissemination and to promote evidence-based best practices. More information on the NRRC is available at http://www.nationalreentryresourcecenter.org.
